Seminar on positive speaking on HIV was arranged for the RRC Volunteers. The class waslead By Mohinthu counsellor Govt hospital Sasthamcotta. She mentioned that teachers needto be trained and supported to deliver life skills education on sensitive issues related tosexuality and HIV and AIDS. Lecture was highly inspiring and worthful for the peer team of Red Ribbon Club.

A seminar on ‘HIV/AIDS myth and facts’ was organized by red ribbon club 0n 10 thDecember 2016.The class was lead by Dr. K. Kiran, Consultant psychiatrist Govt Taluk HospitalKarunagappally. The chief guest Dr. K.Kiran talks about the major reason for HIV/AIDS and thefalse beliefs about the disease. Principal Dr. Dr K. Mohana Kumar counted the importance ofsuch lectures for the people of locality and society besides the direct interaction of thestudents with the experts of the field. The seminar proved to be useful for RRCstudents.Lecture was attended by RRC volunteer’s, students and staff.
