ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Food Processing and Management is dedicated to providing quality education and skill-based training in the field of food science, food processing, and management. The department aims to develop competent professionals who possess the technical knowledge, practical skills, and managerial abilities required to contribute to the rapidly growing food industry.
The department offers the Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Food Processing and Management, a three-year undergraduate program designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills and hands-on experience. The curriculum integrates theoretical learning with practical training in food processing technologies, food preservation, quality control, food safety standards, packaging, nutrition, supply chain management, and entrepreneurship.
